How does a licensing agreement work?
When you license your product to TV Winners, Inc., you are granting us permission, or “the rights” to manufacture and sell your product to the public. In turn, we will pay you a royalty each calendar quarter for these rights. Thus, once the Licensing Agreement is executed you will make money simply by allowing us to market your product. In addition to the royalty terms, the agreement will also include all of the other pertinent terms such as intellectual property rights, term length of agreement, etc.
What is a typical royalty rate?
All deals are different and it depends on patent status, product cost and many other factors. Depending on the characteristics of the product, it will be based on a percentage of sales or a royalty per unit. The royalty is designed so that inventors can take advantage of the tremendous potential for high volume sales.
Does my invention need to be patented before I submit it?
No. Although it is preferable to work with a patented product, we will always take on a new product if we feel it has the potential to be a winner.
Do you charge a fee for evaluating my product?
We do not charge a product submitter a fee to evaluate a product. We either enter into a Licensing Agreement or we pass on the product.
How long does the evaluation process take?
It typically takes us about 2-3 weeks to give all submissions a thorough review.
How long have you been doing this?
For more than 20 years. We have been successfully marketing products with inventors and new product innovators since 1988.
What is the first step?
The first step to working with our company is to formally submit your product so that we can perform our evaluation to determine whether or not we think it has potential for success. Simply click on the
